This week our intake of 2023 graduates attended the RSE Graduate Programme launch event to receive an introduction and welcome to the programme.

The continued success of RSE’s investment in future talent has seen 30 graduates enrolling in this year’s graduate programme across various engineering and support function disciplines.

Located in our offices across the UK, the 2023 cohort attended the launch in Pitlochry to take part in a two-day event to learn more about the company and what to expect from the graduate programme over the next two-years.

The first day of the launch included an official welcome to the programme by senior leaders and different icebreaker activities as an opportunity for the graduates to build their network.  The graduates then took on the ‘Wilderness Challenge’ organised by Nae Limits, involving working as a team to raft down the River Tummel, building shelters and mastering other wilderness survival skills. The activity was enjoyed by all and helped develop communication and cooperation skills between the graduates.

The second day of the programme launch included presentations by senior leaders from across RSE business streams, including Water Technologies, Asset Management, and Control Systems. This provided the graduates with an overview of the business and was followed by a Q&A session to give them the opportunity to broaden their understanding. The graduates also learned more about different aspects of the two-year programme, such as future modules and the graduate mentoring scheme.

The graduate programme 2023 launch was successful in officially introducing our new graduates to RSE and we look forward to supporting their learning and development as they progress throughout the programme.
