RSE secures new AMP8 Framework Agreement with United Utilities
RSE has been selected by United Utilities as one of 18 partners that will deliver its AMP8 Detailed Design & Build Partners capital investment programme. The 18 partners will be supporting United Utilities in delivering £850m of their proposed £13.7bn environmental programme during the 2025-2030 AMP8 period.
RSE is excited about the opportunity to work with United Utilities and its partners to deliver upgrades to United Utilities’ non-infrastructure assets, including Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Pumping Stations & Storage, Reservoirs, Bio Resources and Energy. The value of each project or group of projects is expected to fall within the £500K – £10M.
As part of this strategic framework, RSE will work collaboratively and responsibly with United Utilities and our supply chain partners, to help United Utilities deliver a great service, improve the river quality and biodiversity, create a greener future, positively contribute to the local communities, and drive efficiencies and value for the customer.
“We are thrilled to be awarded the AMP8 Detailed Design & Build Partners capital investment framework. This new framework allows RSE and United Utilities to strengthen our existing relationship through AMP8 and into AMP9 with the potential for a further five-year extension (2030-2035). AMP8 will see the biggest investment in the water industry for decades and RSE looks forward to supporting United Utilities to provide great water for a stronger, greener and healthier North West.“
Stephen Slessor, CEO of RSE
“We’re really pleased to have chosen 18 great partners who will complement the seven partners that we have already have announced to help deliver our ambitious plans and transform our infrastructure across the region. For the first time we’re engaging directly with these partners who will do the work, rather than through large management contractors. This will allow us to be more agile and ensures we have a mix of partners able to deliver at speed, whilst securing the best value for our customers.“
