Loch Ness Modular Nanofiltration Membrane Plant
Factory commissioning complete and our 12 module award winning NF membrane plant is ready to be delivered to Loch Ness, where it will be reassembled in 6 weeks prior to onsite commissioning.
The water treatment works is a 1000m3/day NF membrane plant with sodium hypochlorite and ammonium sulphate disinfection, limestone media remineralisation, MSP plumbosolvency protection and sodium hydroxide pH correction. The works also has a fully integrated state of the art PROFIBUS network and SCADA system – all of which has been developed and installed in house.
The 12 modules for the treatment building have been designed, fabricated, assembled, tested and pre-commissioned in our factory. The offsite-manufactured nature of the modular water treatment plant improves water quality and delivers certainty and savings in time, cost, resource, logistics and emissions. In addition, by completing the M&E fabrication and installation in the workshop only 15% of the total project hours are spent onsite which vastly improves H&S and quality performance.
