RSE is pleased to announce the opening of its new Deephaven facility in Evanton, located within the Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport zone.

As part of this significant expansion, RSE has invested £1.2 million in advanced equipment to enhance its production capabilities and support the growing demand driven by the AMP8 investment from UK Water Companies.

The new Deephaven facility will house the latest technology, including a 3D Robotic Plasma Cutting Machine. This cutting-edge machine boasts impressive capabilities; the machine significantly reduces fabrication preparation time by 60%, minimises Hand Arm Vibration, and enhances the quality of the cut and fabricated items. The machine, which measures, cuts end connections, and can include slots, rat holes, weld preps, holes, and etch piece marks. This addition further underscores RSE’s commitment to utilising advanced technology to streamline production processes and improve output quality.

The Deephaven site spans 2 acres and includes two workshops, each measuring 15m wide x 54m long and equipped with 10-tonne overhead cranes. This facility will play a crucial role in producing RSE’s renowned M-CTU (Modular Ceramic Treatment Unit) range of modules and the mobile m-MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) treatment solutions. These products are pivotal in addressing the current and future needs of the water treatment industry, aligning with the broader industry trend towards modular, factory-produced solutions that offer efficiency and reliability.

RSE’s investment in the Deephaven facility and new equipment underscores the company’s dedication to innovation and excellence in the water technology sector. This expansion will not only enhance RSE’s production capabilities but also support the industry’s drive towards more efficient and sustainable water treatment solutions.
