RSE team raise £17,535 for Maggie’s Highlands Charity
On Saturday evening, a group of RSE employees took part in Run the Runway to raise money for Maggie’s Highlands Charity. Entrants were invited to run, jog, walk or wheelchair down the length of the Inverness Airport’s runway and back at midnight, a course of just over 5 kilometers.
The team made an outstanding effort and were able to raise a grand total of £17,535. This money will be used by the charity to provide free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their family and friends across the whole of the Highlands.
Maggie’s offers a programme of support that has been shown to strengthen physical and emotional wellbeing and delivers their services throughout the region in which RSE was founded, making it a cause close to our hearts.
RSE are extremely proud of our team and would like to congratulate them for their commitment to this amazing cause. Furthermore, RSE would like to make a special mention for team member James Geddes as he was able to complete the course in 1st place with a time of 18 minutes and 57 seconds. Well done to James and the rest of the team!
