O&M Team Litter Pick on Burntisland Beach

On Friday our O&M South team had a busy afternoon cleaning up a beach local to our Dalgety Bay facility and two project sites, Newbigging TWP Pumping Station and Aberdour Waste Water Treatment Works.

The team spent the afternoon litter-picking on Burntisland Beach, picking up and disposing of any discarded rubbish, to prevent it from being washed out into the Firth of Forth and harming sea life. Tidying up our coastal areas ensures everyone is able to enjoy the beautiful beaches Scotland has to offer and provides a safe environment for swimming, with Burntisland Beach being a designated bathing water site.

Burntisland Beach has recently been awarded a Keep Scotland Beautiful 2023 Beach Award and our teams are happy to support the charity in its commitment to making Scotland clean, green, and sustainable, with another beach clean organised for our O&M North team this week.
